Third quarter update: The 49ers offense made their first appearance of the second half and Mike Evans appears to still be in the locker room. The team downgraded him to out, so he will not be returning in this game. Brandin Cooks and Jordan Watkins become the top two wide receivers, while George Kittle and Christian McCaffrey will feature prominently in the passing game the rest of the game.
Halftime update: The 49ers announced that Mike Evans is questionable to return with an Achilles injury.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mike Evans suffered a leg injury and walked to the locker room ahead of halftime with a member of the medical staff. Evans caught a 16-yard pass from Brock Purdy and went to the ground with it. He seemed to be in some pain and medical staff came out. A replay showed Evans trying to stretch his legs, specifically his right one, before walking off the field and to the locker room.
Evans has been on the injury report with rib issues, but had an Achilles injury added to start this week. It appears he aggravated something in his right leg.
